The latest Pathways has been uploaded to the members only portion of this website. One of the Articles in this quarters newsletter is “Nineteenth Century Tombstones Raised”. St. Stephen Cemetery was the first Catholic cemetery in Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio. It is located on both sides of Greenwood Avenue. The German speaking Catholics of St. Stephen parish purchased the original five acres of land on the south side of Greenwood Avenue in 1849. The first burials took place in 1850. In 1873 an additional twelve acres of land were purchased on the north side of Greenwood Avenue. All together this is small compared to the 97-acre Greenwood Cemetery which surrounds it.
